This will be a really short post.
When i started using Exchange 2007 and Vista, it was not an option to install the Exchange 2007 management tools on Vista (see MS KB.) Then, I found on internet a small workaround that would allow this installation.
This limitation does not exist anymore. Indeed, you can have the Exchange Management tools installed on a Windows Vista System. However, you need to have the Service Pack 1 installed. You can now perform your admin tasks using simple MMC and you do not need to remote desktop to your Servers.
For people who are still using WindowS XP SP2 or later (a lot of people probably), you can check this article to see how to install the Exchange 2007 management tool on your system as well.
